Subscription statuses

Subscriptions in Subsail will always be assigned "status", and these statuses change through the lifecycle of each subscription. They also differ depending on whether a subscription is renewing or not.

Renewing subscriptions

Active: The subscription has unsent issues and future renewal payments.
Active - Renewals stopped: Future payments have been stopped by the publisher or the customer. Unsent issues for this subscription are still active and will be included in fulfilment exports.
Complete: Renewals have been stopped by the publisher or customer and all issues have been sent out.
Cancelled: Renewals have been stopped (either manually or via dunning) and there are no unsent issues (eg: they have been cancelled by the publisher or customer). This status is typically used when a customer asks for a refund.
Past due: The latest renewal payment has failed and the subscription is in "dunning". Another renewal payment will be retried soon.

Non-renewing subscriptions

Active: The subscription has unsent issues.
Complete: All issues have been sent out.
Cancelled: Unsent issues have been cancelled by the publisher or customer. This status is typically used when a customer asks for a refund.
